An eVisa for Cambodia is a type of visa that is issued without a physical label (sticker) in your passport. Instead your visa record is held in Immigration Cambodia electronic visa system. This means you will not have a physical visa label in your passport.

There are many benefits to using an Cambodia eVisa over other types of visas, however they may not always allow for your specific travel requirements, and therefore you may need to apply for another type of visa. The benefits of an eVisa include:

When can I apply for an

It is recommended that you apply for an Cambodia eVisa at least 1 - 2 months prior to your departure. What do I need to apply for an

  • A clear scanned copy of the passport you are travelling on. Make sure the passport has at least 6 months left before its expiry date after the conclusion of your travels (and meets the application's requirements.

How do I apply for a

Start a chat with us on Facebook Messenger and we will ask a number of questions that are required to put together your visa application. This step can take up to 10 minutes depending on how easily you can answer the questions.

Once we have completed all the questions, you will be asked to pay the visa fee in order to process the visa. Once the fee has been paid, we'll create your visa application and let you know if we find any issues with your visa. If we find you are not eligible for a visa, we'll refund you and explain the reason for your ineligibility.
Once our review has been completed, and all information requests (if any) have been completed, we'll send it to the government department responsible for processing your visa.

All communication with the government department will be handled by OpenVisa, and any updates will be sent to you. The processing time of your visa varies depending on the government department and their workload. Once the government has made their decision regard your visa, we'll send you an email with the electronic visa grant and information on what you have to do next.

How long does it take to get a

Can an
be extended?

eVisas to Cambodia are non-extendable and non-convertible. This means you may need to leave the country and apply for another visa (provided that you meet the eligibility requirements) to extend or change the purpose of your visit.

If my plans change, can I update my

Unfortunately, once the visa has been sent to the department for approval, you are unable to update the visa with new details. We can help you create a new visa application with the updated details to be sent for approval.

Do I need to enter the country on the exact dates specified on my visa?

You can enter and exit the country anytime between the validity period (date of when you visa starts and ends) as shown on your visa grant.
